I am a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Washington, where I am co-advised by Prof. Jason Kerwin and Prof. Paul Glewwe. My research interests are in development economics, financial economics, and behavioral economics.

My current research studies the role of financial access and information in household and firm decision-making. My job market paper examines the real effects of bank branch closures in Brazil. I also have projects on inflation expectations and household decisions in Ghana, and on giving recipients greater control over the timing of cash transfers.

Before joining UW, I studied Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. I previously worked in the Research Department at the Inter-American Development Bank.
