I am Francis(Haoyu) Fang, a PhD student in Economics at the University of Washington, Seattle. I am co-advised by Prof. Paul Glewwe and Prof. Jason Kerwin. My research interests lie in the domains of Household Finance, International Development, and Behavioral Economics.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Before transferring to UW, I studied for three years in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota.
Previously, I held short-term positions in the Research Department in the Inter-American Development Bank.
